This is a charity event to support ASGO and Central Florida families affected by autism. It is a fun walk that entire families can enjoy.
Our firm is a proud sponsor and we will have a table at the event. See ASGO’s event flyer or visit their website for more information.
Who: Autism Society of Greater Orlando (ASGO) What: Autism Walk & Family Fun Day When: Saturday, May 3, 2014 – from 9 a.m. to Noon Where: Orange County Convention Center (North Concourse) Why: Autism awareness & family supportOne reason why we support ASGO is because of its efforts toward training law enforcement and first responders. Last year, ASGO began an autism awareness training program for police, so officers will learn how to diffuse many situations that otherwise would have gotten out of hand. This training gives officers the knowledge to better interact with people on the autism spectrum. Having litigated civil rights cases involving police situations that get out of hand, our firm realizes how important this need really is. For more information, contact ASGO.
