Thanks to a tip-off from the Die Troll Die blog, we can see 40 new Manny Film lawsuits in our Florida courts. The chart below was pulled this morning from PACER. All of these cases, as indicated by “flsdce” are in the Southern District of Florida. The image is a portion of the complaint.
The lawsuits are for the alleged downloading and alleged copyright infringement of a film called the Manny, about boxer Manny Pacquiao. Hash number ED2ED6937D5B0AA2E3B29B55F0156C68074F8139.

Thanks to a post today by Houston Attorney Rob Cashman, we’ve learned a bit more information about these lawsuits, which have also been filed now in the Middle District of Florida as well as the Southern. Plenty of people in Tampa, Orlando, Winter Park, Fort Myers, and more will soon be getting copies of subpoenas from their ISPs.
